			Armstrong Ward is owned and managed by Andrew and Jacqueline Ward, who opened the store in Autumn 2005 to establish a unique shopping experience within Kendal and indeed the rest of the Lakes. The couple both have a strong background in retail and design, and have hand selected each and every product within the store to reflect their commitment to bringing beauty and functionality to every aspect of the home. 			Armstrong Ward is very proud to support the Lancashire-based charity, Rainbow House, who also have an outreach branch in Kendal. Rainbow House* provides an environment where disabled children can develop skills and enjoy experiences, usually denied them, through a regime to enhance mobility, speech, self-help skills and social ability. 5% of every purchase from our children's range goes to Rainbow House and we will also hold fundraising events throughout the year to support Rainbow House's aim of 'helping disabled children to help themselves'.
