Ownership of rights

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Armstrong Ward Lifestore. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, delete, distribute or post anything on this website for any purpose.

Accuracy of content

Every care has been taken in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that the details, descriptions and prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing, if errors do occur, we will contact you before despach and may cancel the order if pricing errors have occured. All prices are displayed including VAT and exclusive of delivery charges. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus VAT at the current rate and delivery charges as set out.

Ordering errors

You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on ‘Confirm Order’ on the Shopping Basket page of our ordering process.

Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order

We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge receipt of your order and to provide you with an order number. If we are unable to fulfil your order following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered. If you require any information concerning your order please email us at jacqueline@armstrongward.co.uk quoting your order number. We may not accept your order if we have identified a product or pricing error or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. Please note that we reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

Availability

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

Inspection

You should inspect the products upon receipt and check that everything specified is included. You will be deemed to have accepted the order unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem or you cancel your order in acceptance with your cancellation right and/or you return the goods in accordance with our returns policy and procedure. If you fail to take such action, we are not obligated to accept any rejection by you of the goods at a later date.

Payment

Payment can be made by any of the following methods; Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Electron, JCB, American Express and Switch. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account at the point at which your order confirmed. You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. Please note that all credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the issuer of the card. If the issuer of the your payment card refuses to pay or does not for any reason authorise payment to Emma Bridgewater, we will not be liable for delay or non-delivery of goods. We retain the legal ownership of all goods until full payment has been made by you and received by us and legal ownership of the goods will immediately transfer back to us if we refund any payment for the goods to you. Risk in the goods transfers to you upon delivery.

Delivery & Returns

All mainland UK deliveries over £50 are delivered free, we make a charge of £3.95 for all mainland UK deliveries under £50. (Shipping to Ireland and some countries in Europe is now available online - different charges apply, you will be notified of costs at checkout)

We endeavour to deliver within 4 working days within the UK, deliveries to Europe will take approximately 5 working days. Every order has the option of being delivered lovingly gift wrapped, if you would like us to include a hand written card, just fill in the details at the checkout!

Our deliveries are by registered post or Courier, and will require a signature. If you are not in when a delivery is made the courier will leave a card detailing how delivery can be rearranged. We are unable to specify a time of delivery.

If you wish to make orders to multiple addresses, individual orders will need to be made.

If for any reason you wish to return your order, please contact our store within 14 days on 01539 720400.

We recommend returning your parcel with a proof of posting. We regret we cannot reimburse the cost of postage unless the items are faulty or delivered in error. We will refund or exchange your order once goods are received by us.

Legally binding contract

Please remember that when we accept your submitted order for goods on this website, there will be a legally binding contract.

Cancellation rights

Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receiving the goods (with the exception of personalised and food items).

Governing Law

Your use of this website and any purchase by you on this website will be governed by English Law and will be deemed to have occurred in the United Kingdom.

Statutory Rights

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
