This is where we introduce you to both new makers and best-loved brands. Whilst it’s not a definitive selection of those you’ll find in store, it is a rich picking and it’s full of our personal favourites.

John Sankey

We have several key pieces of furniture from the John Sankey range in store for customers to put to the test.

Every time our Mitford Club Sofa has a change of fabric, we are reminded how lovely the choices are, and that these stunning pieces of furniture are also incredibly practical. They are upholstery grade and can be treated with a stain guard, at an extra cost, so they are absolutely perfect for a family life.

That’s the cleverest trick to pull off, combining excellent design with durability and purpose. And that’s the reason we have worked with John Sankey for so long.

A moment of genius led to a toy designer creating tiny mice who went to bed in matchboxes. And that was when we irrevocably fell for the Maileg brand.

Since we first started stocking the range, the mice have been joined by an adorable menagerie of animal friends. They have also moved into larger and truly engaging environments, including a bright and beautiful circus.

This is a charming Danish brand of toys that marries storybook whimsy with Scandinavian design and meticulous attention to detail. It’s a world of childhood imagination and delight, and one we couldn’t imagine being without.

We are never short of volunteers when a Neom delivery is ready for unpacking. The smell is incredible and the packaging feels and looks beautiful. They are a joy to display.

But it isn’t just the aesthetic that draws us in, it’s the whole brand ethos. Just have a little read of their promise:

“100% natural fragrances for the mind & body, made in Britain from ethically sourced, sustainable origins, only natural and organic ingredients, no petrochemical paraffin or mineral wax, no artificial perfume only pure essential oils and no harsh preservatives.”

cent to make you feel good

You can see why we have been a Neom stockist since their very early days, when they were known as Natural Magic. And why they remain one of our favourite brands to sell.

Hogben Pottery

Hogben is everything we and our customers look for in a brand.

It’s British made (in Buckinghamshire) and hand-crafted (produced by a skilled team of potters and decorators). Each piece is also unique to the buyer, with slight variations in the lovingly applied decoration.

It’s amazing how long it can take to choose just the right cup to take home or give as a gift. Will it be the Robin or the Terrier? Decisions, decisions.

Bath House

We love working with local makers. Based in nearby Sedbergh on the edge of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, is one of our favourite fragrance and skincare brands, Bath House.

Since 1997, the team have focused on artistic creativity, artisan methods of production and sharing their love of natural beauty. Bath House men’s, skincare, home fragrance and perfume are among our best selling products – customers return to them time and again for their own indulgence and for gifting.

Look out for their stunning packaging in store, it tells you everything you need to know about their products, which benefit from the same meticulous attention to detail.
